博导,教授。1987年本科毕业于上海医科大学药物化学专业,获学士学位;1995年获美国纽约州立大学石溪分校和美国冷泉港研究所联合遗传学博士学位;1996-2001年,在美国麻省理工学院Whitehead研究所和哈佛医学院心血管研究中心任博士后研究员;2002年起,任美国Vanderbilt大学医学院医学系、药理系和细胞发育生物系助教授(tenure-track),兼任复旦大学特聘讲座教授。2010年全职受聘复旦大学生命科学学院教授。在Cell,Science,Nature,PNAS和DevelopmentalBiology等发表多篇重要学术论文。主持课题有:2012年国家重大科学研究计划子课题;2012年国家自然科学基金面上项目;2011年上海市浦江人才计划。

主要研究方向(ResearchDirections)
我们研究室的长远目标是阐明调控心血管发育和器官形成的细胞分子机制。心血管系统的动态性和复杂性使它成为既具有挑战性又吸引人的研究对象。发育和生长失控是人类心血管疾病的主要特点。我们主要以斑马鱼为模式动物,利用遗传学、发育生物学和分子生物学的方法研究心脏和血管的分化形成生长以及环境对心血管发育的影响。通过药物筛选来发现调控心血管发育和再生的小分子活性物质及相应的信号传导网络。希望我们的研究不仅有助于解密人类心血管和其他疾病的细胞分子病因,并可能为细胞再生和组织自我修复的前沿疗法开辟广阔的思路。
Ourlong-termgoalistoelucidatecellularandmolecularmechanismsregulatingcardiovasculardevelopmentandorganmorphogenesis.Thecomplexanddynamicnatureofcardiovascularsystemmakesitchallengingbutalsointellectuallyfascinatingobjectofstudy.Dysregulationindevelopmentandgrowthisthehallmarkofhumancardiovasculardiseases.Wearestudyingheartandbloodvesselinzebrafishembryos,anexperimentalsystemthataffordsapowerfulcombinationofgeneticanalyseswithmolecular,embryologicalandchemicalapproach.Wehopethatdelineationoffundamentallogicsandmechanismsinorgandevelopmentanddiscoveryofbioactivesmallmoleculesnotonlyhelptoidentifyetiologiesofhumancardiovasculardiseasesbutmayalsoaidindesigningnoveltherapeuticsforcellregenerationandtissueself-repair.
