简历：
男，1941年生。生理学及生物物理学系教授（博导），脑科学研究中心主任、兼复旦大学眼耳鼻喉科医院眼科研究所所长。1964年毕业于中国科学技术大学生物物理系，并留该校任教，1985年任副教授，1989年任教授。曾任生物学系常务副主任、主任（1984-1996）并兼理学院副院长（1994-1997）。1980—1996年四度赴美国合作研究5年。1997年始在复旦大学工作至今。1998年建立复旦大学脑科学研究中心，任主任。2005年始兼任复旦大学眼耳鼻喉科医院眼科研究所所长。现任NeuroscienceLetters（Elsevier）副编辑、NeuroscienceBulletin常务编委和神经解剖编委。已培养博士17名，硕士20名(其中7名现已回国成为中国科学院或著名大学的研究员或教授)。

主要研究方向：
用电生理、脑功能光学成像、神经通路跟踪技术、脑内微量电泳和药理学技术，研究视觉信息处理的脑机制（包括视网膜、丘脑和视觉皮层）;神经系统发育和可塑性和眼内压与视功能关系。
Usingelectrophysiological，brainfunctionalopticalimaging，neuralpathwaytracing，microelectrophoresis,pharmacologicalmethodsandotherapproachestostudyneuronalmechanismsofvisualinformationprocessing(fromretinatovisualcortex)inthebrain;relationshipbetweenvisualfunctionandintraocularpressure;developmentandplasticityofthenervoussystem.


获奖情况：
在视觉方位和方向敏感性及图形适应的皮层下机制研究方面的新发现，修正了国际学术界的传统观点，获1997年中国科学院自然科学奖二等奖（第一获奖人）。耳根环麻醉镇痛原理的研究分别获1978年中国科学院和安徽省重大科技成果奖。国际脑研究组织2007年最佳神经科学封面奖；中国科学院优秀研究生导师（1990，1993），复旦大学优秀研究生导师(2005)。
