主要从事板壳力学、先进材料/结构力学及航空航天结构力学研究。
在板壳力学新理论方法、柔性电子器件关键理论模型及应用等方面取得创新成果。提出的理论方法被国内外知名学者评价为“巧妙的方法论”、“卓越的研究成果”、“无论何时寻求简便解都是强大的”;获得的理论解被国内外知名学者评价为“针对代表性、挑战性问题,取得了突破”,被直接应用于新的浮冰失效准则计算,被诸多学者用作验证其数值/近似方法精确性的基准;建立的理论模型指导了多种新兴柔性电子器件的结构设计,被国外知名学者通过实验“首次充分证实”,被Yonggang Huang 院士作为 2014 年全国固体力学大会的大会报告和 2016 年 ASME Nadai 奖颁奖大会报告。
目前已发表期刊学术论文 90余篇,其中国际 SCI 期刊论文 70余篇,包括权威期刊《Nature》,《Science》,《PNAS》,《Advanced Functional Materials》,《ACS Nano》,《Advanced Materials Technologies》,《Soft Matter》,《Applied Physics Letters》,《Proceedings of the Royal Society A》,《Journal of Microelectromechanical Systems》,《International Journal of Solids and Structures》,《ASME Journal of Applied Mechanics》等,论文他引 > 1000 次。
担任Nature旗下期刊《Scientific Reports》编委、美国数学学会《Mathematical Reviews》评论员、60余种 SCI 期刊审稿专家、辽宁省力学学会理事。入选首批中国科协和中国力学学会“青年人才托举工程”、首批辽宁省“兴辽英才计划”青年拔尖人才,荣获辽宁省优秀博士学位论文、辽宁省百千万人才工程、辽宁省自然科学学术成果奖(论文类)一等奖 4 项、首批大连市青年科技之星、钱令希力学奖青年教师一等奖、全国高校微课教学比赛辽宁省一等奖、全国优秀奖等科研与教学荣誉。
