1989年8月,大连理工大学机械制造及其自动化专业工学博士学位。
1995年8月~,大连理工大学机械工程学院教授。
1998年10月~,大连理工大学机械工程学院博士生导师。
2000年3月~,大连理工大学模具研究所所长。
2005年1月~,模塑制品教育部工程研究中心主任
2005年8月~2006年7月,英国利物浦大学工程系访问教授。
2011年7月~,日本岩手大学工程系客座教授。
