研究方向
1,生物体内微量金属元素和无机多聚物的代谢机制及调控功能:
微量金属元素和无机多聚物在生命过程中有着一系列其他物质所不能替代的特殊作用。这些物质在体内的代谢水平紊乱,会导致多种疾病,包括癌症、神经退行性疾病、中风、脑出血、创伤性脑损伤等。为了研究其在生物体内的代谢机制及调控功能,我们将运用化学生物学,生物无机化学,微生物学,合成生物学和蛋白质组学等多学科交叉的研究方法,相关的主要课题包括:
(1)细胞铁死亡相关金属蛋白的作用机制;
(2)多聚磷酸盐在原核及真核系统中的生物学功能。

2,基于光电驱动的新型半人工光合作用:
半人工光合作用系统是通过将具有光电催化功能的材料与具有生物活性的酶/微生物细胞复合构建的杂化系统,是合成生物学,化学生物学和材料科学等学科国际****共同关注的热点。设计开发新型的半人工光合系统并应用到医药和生物技术研究中将具有重要的科研价值和巨大的社会效益。相关的主要课题包括:
(1)光电驱动的微生物“非天然”生物合成。

3,无机二维材料和金属介导的免疫调控与干预。
