Brief BiosketchDr Long Teng received the B.Eng. degree in Automation from China Jiliang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2010, the M.Eng. degree in Robotics from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2018. From Aug. 2017 to Sept. 2018, he worked with Singapore Technology Engineering (Electronics, Satellite Systems) in Singapore and a startup for rehabilitation robotics in Shenzhen, China, respectively. From Oct. 2018 to Oct. 2020, he was a postdoc with the Department of Materials and Production, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Research Interests Robotics, bio-inspired robots, wearable assistive robots;
Control systems theory and applications to robots;
Artificial intelligence with applications to robots and control.
