BIO
Matthew joined the university in 2019 having worked for the British Council in Hong Kong since 2014. He is a dedicated and versatile English teacher with 16+ years’ experience developing and teaching EAP and ESP courses at universities and educational institutions in Asia and the Middle East. Since he joined the Language Centre, he has taught a variety of credit-bearing and supplementary English language courses and ensured that he meets the dynamic academic and e-learning needs of his students. Using a range of pedagogical approaches, he is committed to creating an interactive learner-centred classroom environment that instils the importance of independent self-learning and reflection.
