Biography
Feng Yin received the B.Sc. degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Dr.-Ing. degree from Technische Universit?t Darmstadt, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. In 2013, he received the Chinese government award for outstanding self-financed students abroad. In 2014, he received the prestigious Marie-Curie scholarship from European Union. From 2014 to 2016, He was with Ericsson research, Linkoping, Sweden, working on indoor positioning, Gaussian process based propagation modeling, and machine learning for wireless communications. He joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD) in June 2016. His research interests lie in statistical signal processing, machine learning, and sensory data fusion with applications to wireless positioning and tracking.??
