Biography
Dr. Guanying Chen received his PhD degree in Computer Science from The University of Hong Kong, and his B.Eng degree in Sun Yat-sen University. Before joining CUHK-SZ, he worked on computer vision research at Baidu. During his PhD study, he had internship/visiting experiences in Alibaba DAMO Academy, Osaka University, and SenseTime. His research focuses on 3D vision, physics based vision, and low-level vision. His work has been published in top-tier venues in relevant fields, such as TPAMI, IJCV, CVPR, ICCV, and ECCV. He serves as the regular reviewer for serveral international journals and conferences. He is also the recipient of 2021 Baidu Global Top 100 Chinese Rising Stars in AI (https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/v7ITiZXOJiDUbPlRlcqQRA).
