陈锋，于2020年加入湖南大学机械与运载工程学院担任副教授，2017年10月至2020年1月在英国拉夫堡大学担任高级科研软件工程师 (永久职位)，负责英国区域超算中心(HPC Midlands+)科研软件工程师团队的筹建和高性能计算的研究。主导和参与多学科并行科研软件的开发和优化并提供专业咨询和课程教授。2017之前主要从事水声学、海洋中尺度特征对水声传播影响、海洋噪音研究以及相关的软件开发，其成果发表在多个国际知名SCI期刊上。 期间参与了多个国际性项目（合作者包括英国皇家海军、英国气象局等），主导和开发了大型并行海洋噪音模型并应用于科研和军事领域。
