吴迪,男,1982年生,湖南郴州人,湖南大学教授,博士生导师,嵌入式与网络计算湖南省重点实验室副主任,湖南大学-大疆创新实验室、数据智能与服务协同实验室、智慧城市行业技术国际协同创新中心等产学研基地负责人。欧美同学会(中国留学人员联谊会)留美国分会理事,湖南省政协委员,湖南省侨联特聘专家委员会委员。先后获得湖南大学通信工程学士、硕士和博士学位,加州大学尔湾分校(University of California, Irvine)计算机科学硕士和博士学位。曾先后任职于湖南省测绘科技研究所、加州大学尔湾分校、IBM 研究院、斯坦福研究院、帝国理工学院、英特尔公司伦敦智慧城市研究院,2015年加入湖南大学。主要研究领域是物联网与智慧城市。致力通过先进智能物联技术解决城市发展中的可持续问题和互联互通问题。
