主要研究方向:(1) 碳纳米功能材料;(2) 光电信息材料与器件。
先后主持或完成中国博士后科学基金特别资助和面上项目、湖南省自然科学基金、湖南省教育厅科研基金重点项目和湖南省教学改革等科研项目,参与多项国家自然科学基金和湖南省自然科学基金的研究工作。获国家发明专利2项、2008年湖南大学优秀博士论文奖和2009年中南大学优秀博士后,指导学生获得湖南省“挑战杯”大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛二等奖。在Carbon、Acta Materialia、Cryst. Eng. Comm.、Nanotechnology、J Nanopart. Res.和 Functional Materials Letters等国内外核心刊物上发表研究论文近60篇,被SCI、EI系统检索50余篇,被SCI他引500多篇次。
