1995年毕业于天津南开大学化学系,2000年南开大学元素所硕士毕业并获理学硕士学位,2003年南开大学元素所（国家重点实验室）毕业并获理学博士学位,同年到清华大学化学系做博士后。2005年6月,到郑州大学化学系任副教授，2009年12月至今任教授，2011年11月-2012年12月,在英国曼彻斯特大学化学系访问学者，2008年6月-9月,美国华盛顿州立大学高级访问学者。
