王明新,男,汉族,1957年生。哈尔滨工业大学理学研究中心特聘教授和二级教授,博士生导师。河南省优秀专家称号及国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。在国内外核心期刊上发表论文 200 余篇,科学出版社出版专著5本,参与编写了科学出版社出版的“数学大辞典”,高等教育出版社出版专著1本,清华大学出版社出版教材4本。主持完成国家自然科学基金项目8项,在研一项;主持完成省部级项目8项。获得教育部科技进步三等奖2次,江苏省科技进步二等奖1次,高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖自然科学二等奖1次,江苏省首届青年科学家奖提名奖,河南省青年科技奖,江苏省优秀研究生指导教师,华英文化教育基金奖。

2009.9至今,哈尔滨工业大学理学研究中心,二级教授,特聘教授,博士生导师。现为《应用数学》,《Advances in Differential Equations and Control Process》,《International Journal of Differential Equations》,《Advances in Pure Mathematics (APM)》,《理论数学》杂志编委,《Math. Review》评论员, 教育部留学归国人员基金专家组成员。94年起享受国务院政府特殊津贴。

连续三次被评为东南大学科技工作先进个人(1996,1999,2002),并多次获得东南大学教学基金和教学奖。主讲的研究生课程《非线性发展方程》是东南大学优秀研究生课程,《线性偏微分方程理论》是东南大学研究生精品课程并得到东南大学研究生教材建设立项的资助,主讲的本科生课程《数学物理方程》是东南大学重点教学改革项目,《索伯列夫空间》得到东南大学研究生教材建设立项的资助。我的研究生彭锐同学的硕士论文被评委江苏省优秀硕士生毕业论文,还获得学校的首届优秀博士论文基金资助,他的博士论文被评为江苏省优秀博士学位论文;我的研究生中有8位同学获得陪经配英奖;指导的本科生王彩芳同学的毕业设计获得江苏省优秀毕业设计2等奖(这是数学系惟一的一个)。

在学科建设方面,作为第一带头人申请到应用数学博士点和数学博士后流动站,作为首席学术带头人,申请到江苏省“应用数学”重点学科。在学术梯队和青年教师培养方面,我所领导的偏微分方程学科组中的4位副教授和2位讲师全部具有博士学位,其中的两位副教授06年都申请到国家自然科学基金青年项目(这在数学系也是唯一的一次),一位讲师07年申请到国家自然科学基金青年项目,有2位得到东南大学优秀青年教师教学科研资助计划的资助。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目的3位青年教师中,有2位是我指导的博士(一位毕业2年,一位毕业1年),得到东南大学优秀青年教师教学科研资助计划资助的2位青年教师中有1位是我指导的博士。
