1995.09 – 1998.06，华中科技大学材料学院，博士研究生，获博士学位；
1998.06 – 2000.11，武汉理工大学材料复合新技术国家重点实验室，博士后；
2000.12 – 至今，华中科技大学航空航天学院/材料学院教授，博士生导师。
科学研究方向
l 复合材料制备及应用；
l 纳米材料制备及应用；
l 燃烧合成技术及应用。

作为项目负责人，承担的主要项目有：
l 国家自然科学基金：微波场中纳米氧化物溶液燃烧合成过程及机理研究；
l 国家自然科学基金：电场诱发自蔓延高温合成反应的热物理过程研究；
l 国家自然科学基金：电场作用下金属-陶瓷熔体的燃烧合成及凝固过程的研究；
l 国际热核聚变实验堆（ITER）计划专项课题：面向等离子体材料和模块的设计及制备基础研究；
l 国际热核聚变实验堆（ITER）计划专项课题：先进阻氚涂层材料关键基础问题研究。
