研究方向
1. 分子肿瘤：肿瘤发生机制研究
研究表达失调microRNA和环状RNA在肿瘤发生发展中的作用。
2. 神经生物学：神经性疾病致病基因的克隆与致病分子机理研究
（1）分析神经发育与功能异常的遗传病家系和染色体畸变病例，进行致病基因的鉴定；
（2）构建细胞和小鼠神经性疾病的模型，对致病基因进行功能分析和行为学分析，探索基因突变的致病分子机理；
（3）应用功能性多神经元钙成像、双光子成像等技术，绘制神经性疾病受损部位神经元的信号传导网络，研究基因突变对神经活动的影响。

个人经历
1992年获华中理工大学（现名华中科技大学）学士学位，2000年毕业于中国科学院上海脑研究所（现名中国科学院上海神经所），2000-2002年纽约大学医学院博士后，2002-2006年哈佛大学医学院麻省总医院和波士顿儿童医院博士后，2006年10月中山大学“****”引进人才进入生命科学学院。
