分子寄生虫学及进化
寄生虫是一类特殊的动物,需要寄生在一个或多个宿主体内。我们不仅研究寄生虫的形态、生活史、感染力、抗药性等基本寄生虫学特征,还研究基因及蛋白功能与进化。

学术成就
一直从事人兽共患寄生虫的研究,并取得显著成绩,2005年迄今,在PNAS、the Lancet Infectious Diseases和Molecular Biology and Evolution等国际顶级学术期刊杂志发表论文多篇,SCI论文四十余篇,影响因子10及以上有10篇,得到寄生生物领域国内外同行认可。
研究成果加深了学术界对寄生生物的生物学特性在细胞蛋白及分子水平上的认识在物种形成及进化等宏观方面做出了积极贡献也为寄生虫的控制及药物靶点设计提供了重要的理论基础
