简介:
现任中山大学医学院教授,博士生导师。2005至2008年就读于香港大学生物学专业,获学士学位。2011年于香港大学获得病毒学硕士学位。硕士期间两次(2009,2011年)以访问****的身份赴美国国家疾病控制中心进修。2011年加入澳大利亚知名病毒学家Edward Holmes团队,并于2015年于获得悉尼大学的病毒学博士学位,博士就读期间与中国疾病控制中心人兽共患病室建立长期合作。之后留悉尼大学接受博士后训练,开展病原体进化和生态的研究。2017年开始在上海临床公共卫生中心任兼职教授,2018年获得悉尼大学讲师职位,2019年作为中山大学“****”引进人才加入中山大学医学院。

学术成果:
???????? 本人主要从事病毒的遗传进化,新病原发现,以及病原体与宿主之间相互作用的研究。并且致力于将最前沿的高通量测序技术(二代,三代,单细胞测序)和生物学信息方法运用于病原学研究。其研究成果主要体现在(i)建立了独有的样品处理体系与高通量测序为基础的病毒筛查新体系,开发了针对病原发现的高效快速的生物信息分析流程、(ii)发现了超过2000种的新病毒,重新定义了非脊椎动物和脊椎动物的RNA病毒圈,改变了人们对RNA病毒的普遍性和多样性的认知、(iii)利用多组学测序产生的丰富的病毒、细菌和宿主信息,阐释了病毒、宿主、以及其它微生物之间的相互作用,开创了以组学为基础的系统病原学的先例。主要的研究工作发表在Nature (两篇长文), NEJM, Cell, PNAS, elife, 以及Plos Pathogens等国际知名杂志。总计发表SCI论文数61篇,总引用次数达4226次。
