贝类遗传学与育种研究、贝类功能基因与基因组学和 贝类生物多样性与比较线粒体基因组学。

研究工作
主要从事海洋贝类的遗传育种、分子生物学及功能基因组学研究,主要包括通过性状相关功能基因克隆、表达分析,功能和调控研究,为性状解析和良种培育提供可供利用的基因/基因组信息和工具;利用分子生物学、生物信息学、基因组、转录组、蛋白组学方法,研究贝类免疫、抗逆等性状表达的分子机理、解析基因组特征;通过实验生物学方法,进行牡蛎、砗磲等贝类的人工繁育研究,利用家系选择、群体选择、杂交和多倍体和分子辅助选育进行牡蛎等贝类优良品种培育。
