1. 气相中生物分子及其氢键团簇的激光光电离光谱与动力学
在分子水平上探讨生物分子的结构和动力学过程对于深入理解生命现象非常重要,人们最为关注的生物分子小到氨基酸、短肽和糖类,大到蛋白质、DNA等,均参与了生物组织中基本物理和化学过程。近年来,采用分子束的技术,在气相中探测它们及其团簇的质谱和激光光谱,进而获得其分子结构和动力学过程的相关信息,已成为一个研究热点。本课题组采用质量选择的IR-VUV激光光谱方法并应用分子束、飞行时间质谱等先进的实验技术,结合密度泛函和量化从头计算方法,试图在分子水平探讨生命过程中一些基本的物理化学问题。

2. 激光后电离质谱新方法应用于生物医学和环境检测

激光后电离技术是使用两束激光分别完成气化/解析和电离的任务。第一束激光使用红外激光,使待测固体样品瞬间受热气化/解析。在经过一定的时间延迟后,引入第二束激光对气体分子进行电离。双步激光质谱法可以根据需要单独优化两束激光的能量密度和波长,从而选择性气化/解析和电离中性分子以达到优化质谱信号的目的,由于不需要添加基质,特别适合于检测小分子物质(分子量2000 amu 以下)如药物分子等。

3. 拉曼和SERS方法探讨生物分子的结构及其在贵金属纳米表面的吸附
拉曼光谱是一种简便,灵敏的光谱分析技术。表面增强拉曼散射(SERS)是一种发生于银、金、铜等少数金属的粗糙电极及其纳米粒子表面,可极大地增强吸附分子拉曼散射信号的一种现象。后者极大地扩展拉曼光谱的应用范围。本研究方向结合密度泛函和量子从头计算理论方法,开展生物分子结构及其在金银纳米粒子表面拉曼增强机理(Mechanism)和吸附取向(Orientation)的基础研究。

4. 拉曼(SERS)标记方法应用于生化分析
拉曼(SERS)标记技术是一种新颖的光谱标记方法,它利用金或银等纳米粒子来增强吸附在其表面标记分子的拉曼信号,并将其作为标记示踪信号。该标记技术有谱峰窄,不易发生光淬灭,很少受光漂白和水环境的影响等优点。免疫标记分析技术是“迈向2 1世纪的医学检验技术”之一,以免疫分析为基础的拉曼标记技术以其独特的优点,在生化分析方面具有广泛的应用前景。

主要学术成果:
自攻读博士学位开始,胡勇军教授一直从事基于激光的质谱和光谱研究,其研究对象覆盖了化学小分子,生物大分子到准稳态的自由基,离子与团簇,在基于激光的质谱和光谱分析方面有较高的造诣,提出了系列具有独创性的学术观点,并逐步形成自己的学术体系。
胡勇军教授现任职于华南师范大学教育部重点实验室,激光生命科学研究所,主要从事基于激光的生物质谱和拉曼光谱的基础和应用研究。在纳米探针、生物传感、激光光谱、质谱分析、团簇反应动力学等方面都有很深的学术造诣。主要学术任职:广东省生物物理学会理事,中国光学学会生物医学光子学专业委员会委员,中国化学会反应动力学专业委员会委员等。主讲研究生学位课程“光谱学导论”,指导硕士研究生多名。发表高水平学术论文SCI收录80余篇,在本专业研究领域的国际权威杂志上(以 J. Chem. Phys. 和J. Phys. Chem. A为主)发表原创性研究论文20多篇(绝大多数为第一作者或通讯作者),最高影响因子10以上论文多篇,其中一区论文6篇,授权发明专利多项。
主持国家自然科学基金项目6项,参与基金委仪重大仪器项目一项(参与单位华南师范大学排名第一),广东省自然科学基金项目2项,获教育部留学回国人员启动项目资助,并主持其他广东省和广州市科研项目7项。

感兴趣的研究方向:
1.气相中生物分子及其氢键团簇的激光光电离光谱与动力学
在分子水平上探讨生物分子的结构和动力学过程对于深入理解生命现象非常重要,人们最为关注的生物分子小到氨基酸、短肽和糖类,大到蛋白质、DNA等,均参与了生物组织中基本物理和化学过程。近年来,采用分子束的技术,在气相中探测它们及其团簇的质谱和激光光谱,进而获得其分子结构和动力学过程的相关信息,已成为一个研究热点。本课题组采用质量选择的IR-VUV激光光谱方法并应用分子束、飞行时间质谱等先进的实验技术,结合密度泛函和量化从头计算方法,试图在分子水平探讨生命过程中一些基本的物理化学问题。

2.双步激光质谱新方法应用于生物医学和环境检测
双步激光质谱法(L2MS)使用两束激光分别完成气化/解析和电离的任务。第一束激光使用红外激光,使待测固体样品瞬间受热气化/解析。在经过一定的时间延迟后,引入第二束激光对气体分子进行电离。双步激光质谱法可以根据需要单独优化两束激光的能量密度和波长,从而选择性气化/解析和电离中性分子以达到优化质谱信号的目的,由于不需要添加基质,特别适合于检测小分子物质(分子量2000 amu以下)如药物分子等。

3.拉曼和SERS方法探讨生物分子的结构及其在贵金属纳米表面的吸附 拉曼光谱是一种简便,灵敏的光谱分析技术。表面增强拉曼散射(SERS)是一种发生于银、金、铜等少数金属的粗糙电极及其纳米粒子表面,可极大地增强吸附分子拉曼散射信号的一种现象。后者极大地扩展拉曼光谱的应用范围。本研究方向结合密度泛函和量子从头计算理论方法,开展生物分子结构及其在金银纳米粒子表面拉曼增强机理(Mechanism)和吸附取向(Orientation)的基础研究。

4.拉曼(SERS)标记方法应用于生化分析
拉曼(SERS)标记技术是一种新颖的光谱标记方法,它利用金或银等纳米粒子来增强吸附在其表面标记分子的拉曼信号,并将其作为标记示踪信号。该标记技术有谱峰窄,不易发生光淬灭,很少受光漂白和水环境的影响等优点。免疫标记分析技术是“迈向2 1世纪的医学检验技术”之一,以免疫分析为基础的拉曼标记技术以其独特的优点,在生化分析方面具有广泛的应用前景。
