研究方向：
主要从事海洋微生物、中草药中抗肿瘤、抗真菌、抗糖尿病等多方面生物活性天然产物的发现与结构及活性研究；从事中药新产品的研制与开发；从事中药资源的品质评价和开发研究。

简介：
近20年来从事生药学/天然药物化学等领域的研究工作,参与了生药学等领域多个国家及省部级课题(如85 国家重点科技攻关项目—常用中药材品种整理和质量研究，科技部中药材标准化研究课题)的研究, 主持实施和参与了国家自然基金面上项目、联合基金项目、广东省自然基金团队项目、厅级课题的研究工作，在中草药化学、微生物代谢产物及海洋天然产物等研究领域都有涉及。先后对10余种中草药、8种海绵及一些微生物培养物进行了活性化学成分的研究,分离鉴定了300多个化合物，发现了近60余个新化合物和一系列抗肿瘤、抗真菌等生物活性化合物。至今，已发表论文80余篇，其中发表在JACS（美国化学会志）、JOC、JNP等各种国际性专业期刊的SCI论文近40篇。参编专著和教材两部。现为Medicinal Crops杂志编委，为Chemical & Pharmaceutical Bulletin、Natural Products Research、Chemical Research in Chinese Universities、中国高等化学学报（英文版）等国内外多个杂志审稿人。目前，承担国家自然基金项目和省厅级项目各一项，并参与承担国家自然基金委与广东省政府联合基金重点项目、教育部创新团队项目及省自然基金团队项目的研究工作。在教学上承担本科生、研究生课程教学工作，指导博士生、硕士生10余人，并每年指导3－4名本科生进行毕业论文专题研究。
