1993年,东北师范大学生物系遗传学专业,遗传学硕士学位。
1993年至1995年,中国科学院遗传研究所植物染色体工程国家重点实验室。
1999年7月,奥地利维也那大学,博士学位。
1999年至2002年,德国杜塞尔多夫大学,(洪堡****)博士后。
2002年3月至2006年10月,美国马萨诸塞大学医学院,博士后。
2006年12月至今,厦门大学生命科学学院教授。

研究领域(Research Area
主要涉及以裂殖酵母为模式生物,研究异染色质形成以及细胞周期过程中主要事件的分子协调机制。
