  王要兵,男,博士,研究员、博士生导师。1982年4月生。2003年本科毕业于湖北大学化学与材料科学学院,2008年在中国科学院化学研究所获得物理化学博士学位(导师:姚建年院士),随后从事博士后研究,2009年于深圳从事石墨烯产业化项目工作。2012年12月到中国科学院福建物质结构研究所工作,任研究员、课题组长。在Angew Chem Int Edit, Advanced Materials,Adv Funct Mater, Nano Energy, ACS Energy Lett, Scientific Reports,J Mater Chem A,Electrochimica Acta,Journal of Power Sources等国际著名期刊上发表文章五十余篇,并获得授权专利40余篇。
