林开敏，男，1965年8月出生于福建仙游，研究员，博士，博士生导师。1988年福建林学院林业专业本科毕业，1991年福建林学院造林学专业硕士毕业，1999年南京林业大学造林学专业博士毕业。现在为福建杉木研究中心副主任，主要从事森林培育和森林生态等研究。承担本科生《资源环境系统管理》、硕士研究生《生物多样性》课程的教学任务。多年来亲自主持国家自然科学基金、教育部重点科研项目以及福建省自然科学基金等10项课题研究，先后参加国家“七.五”、“八.五”、“九.五”攻关项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目和福建省重大专项等6项课题。获国家教委科技进步二等奖、中国高校自然科学二等奖及福建省科技进步一、三等奖等共5项。在《生态学报》、《林业科学》、《应用生态学报》、《生物多样性》等全国公开刊物上发表了学术水平论文共70余篇（其中第一作者论文35篇）。参加《杉木栽培学》和《杉木人工林长期生产力保持机制研究》专著编写，其中《杉木栽培学》获华东地区科技图书出版系统二等奖。2002年入选“福建省百千万人才工程”。2001年开始招收森林培育和生态学等专业的硕士研究生，2011年开始招收森林培育专业的博士研究生。
