学术专长
1)利用物理与数值模拟方法对中间包控流装置、结晶器(包括双锟薄带熔池)伸入式水口设计、评估以及如中包起旋高度、拉速与水口吹氩流量的关系等工艺参数的设计。合作单位有:国家自然科学基金委、西安重型机械研究所、宝钢、武钢、攀钢、马钢、成钢、邯钢、太钢、济钢、重钢、昆钢、南钢、沙钢、维苏威高级陶瓷(苏州)有限公司等企业。
2)连铸结晶器保护渣。该研究方向得到国家自然科学基金四次资助,提出的含钛无氟连铸保护渣理论已得到发明专利授权。合作单位有:宝钢、马钢、重钢、南钢、梅钢、沙钢、珠钢等钢铁企业。与国内连铸保护渣龙头企业—河南西峡保护材料集团公司十年合作,研发的各种机型、拉速、钢种的结晶器连铸保护渣不仅应用在国内所有大中型钢铁企业,而且在海外市场也占一定分额。
3)连铸二冷制度的优化及建立。合作单位有:宝钢、邯钢、太钢、重钢、马钢、南钢等钢铁企业。研发的板坯连铸二冷制度仿真软件应用方便、可靠,得到企业认可。研发的连铸喷嘴性能测试装置,克服了传统检测方法的缺点,有着操作性和维护性强的优点。获国家发明专利。马钢、涟钢、河北理工大学及数家喷嘴生产厂家相继购置了该设备。
4)铸坯质量控制研究,尤其是铸坯角部横裂纹的控制,获国家自然科学基金资助。主要合作单位有宝钢、新疆八钢、攀钢、马钢、梅钢、太钢、重钢、南钢、沙钢等企业。
5)连铸结晶器保护渣性能检测及保护渣使用标准的建立。合作单位有:南钢、宝钢、马钢、梅钢、武钢、河北理工大学、美国卡内基梅隆大学等企业和学校。

负责国家自然科学基金项目3项、主研3项、参研2项;负责十一五国家支撑计划子项目1项,重大专项子课题1项,国家留学回国人员基金和重庆市自然科学基金各1项,近100项企业合作项目。近五年负责科研项目实到经费750万元。
