开发了一个新的云微物理参数化方案,被应用到全球最新的中尺度天气模式(WRF)中;
主持第一次全球大气模式热带暖池国际云实验(TWP-ICE) 比对计划;
首次发现相对海温是影响台风个头大小的主要因子,因此台风个头大小在未来气候变暖下变化不大;
发现和证实了一条从印度平原到青藏高原西南部的由对流驱动的先上后过的翻越喜马拉雅山脉的水汽通道。
