个人简介 :博士、教授。电力牵引教育部工程研究中心主任。
目前主要承担教学任务:本科生《电力电子》,博士生《现代电能变换系统》;
目前主要承担科研任务:与Toshiba、Fuji Electric和OSU等日本和美国的国际合作项目。
国际电气电子工程学会高级会员(IEEE Senior Member),IEEE电力电子学会北京(中国)分会执委,北京市学科评议组成员,北京交大电力电子与电力传动学科责任教授。发表学术刊物文章近100篇,国际学术会议论文近200篇,已授权发明专利30件。他出版专著1本,编著1本,主编教材1本,参编教材3本。SCI检索源Journal of Power Electronics (JPE) 和IET Power Electronics Journal (IET)两个国际学术刊物的编委会副编。
1999年,加拿大New Brunswick大学访问,Virginia Tech美国国家电力电子系统中心访问教授(Visiting Professor, Center for Power Electronics Systems)。
2003年至2011年两届担任北京交通大学电气工程学院院长。目前是北京电力电子学会副理事长,中国电工技术学会理事,IEEE Power Electronics Society 北京(中国)Chapter执行委员。获得过北京市优秀教师和詹天佑铁道科技青年奖,被授予铁道部青年科技拔尖人才称号,被授予Delta环境与教育基金会(美国)中达称号(表彰在电力电子与电力传动领域作出杰出成就的中国专家)。

科研成果 :主要科技成果——

4. 2015年受日本东芝公司委托研制成功电力机车辅助电源不停电自动过技术,成功应用并推广于和谐3G型电力机车上。该技术成果已转让给原北车集团。
3. 2005年发明一种高压电源电路,研制成功高精度63MW的电弧炉电源及其控制系统;成功投运后,电源系统容量于2017年扩展至189MW。
2. 2000年研制成功我国第一套直流侧互馈型电力牵引交流传动系统回馈试验台并陆续推广。
1. 1996年研制成功用于欧洲进口8K型电力机车的IGBT辅助逆变器,解决了该型电力机车进口以来存在近10年的烧损技术难题,挽救了价值30亿元人民币的8k电力机车全面停车的困境(人民日报1998年语)。
(没有申报过科技成果奖励。2010年以来他人申报捎带上本人的有:2010年“电铁供电关键技术研究”国家电网公司科技进步三等奖; 2012年“高频直流制备多晶的兆瓦级电气系统”北京市科学技术奖二等奖;2014年“智能型工业用大功率开关电源终端系统”北京市科学技术奖三等奖)
