个人简历和过去的科研概况:
1998年4月中国科学院物理研究所博士毕业。 1998年5月至2002年4月在香港科技大学物理系作访问, 从事博士后研究。 2002年8月任北京师范大学物理系教授。2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。2008年获国家基金资助。
多年来一直致力于光子晶体和低维纳米结构的物理特性及其应用研究,并做出了多项创新成果。(1) 首次观测到了光和声的Zitterbewegung效应,证明了相对论量子力学中一个长期的理论预言;(2) 首次在光子准晶中观察到了负折射现象,并在国际上率先利用二维光子晶体超棱镜实现了对两种极化波的同时聚集成像;(3)通过严格数值模拟首先在声子晶体中观察到负折射现象,并发现了自旋子的负折射;(4)在无序动力学中率先从理论上揭示出准一维到三维的动力学交叉行为,后被实验所证实;(5)发展出了在强局域化中分析弱局域化的统一理论;(6)提出了利用带边场"工程"光子带隙的办法,并被实验证实;(7)在12重准晶中发现了大的绝对光子带隙,并指出了《Nature》上一篇重要文章的错误;(8)率先在铁磁藕合双结中发现超过90%的巨隧穿磁电阻。已在国内外核心期刊上发表论文80余篇,其中包括4篇PRL、9篇APL和30篇Phys.Rev.。论文被包括发表在Science, Nature Materials, Nature Physics和 Phys. Rev. Lett.等SCI期刊上的论文引用880余次,其中被他人引用近700次,单篇他人最高引用为119次。曾多次在国际大会上被邀做口头报告,担任Phys. Rev. Lett.和Phys. Rev. B/E,Appl. Phys. Lett和J. Appl. Phys.等多种国际著名期刊的审稿人。

目前的研究方向:
光子晶体及其无序系统中的物理特性研究;
纳米光子学和介观物理的研究。
