管理学博士，北京第二外国语学院旅游科学学院副教授。主要研究领域为旅游市场与开发、旅游社会文化地理。
在《地理研究》、《地理科学》、《旅游学刊》、《人文地理》、《经济地理》、《资源科学》、《Journal of China Tourism Research》等刊物发表论文50余篇，出版专著1部。主持国家自然科学基金1项，国家社会科学基金1项，中国博士后科学基金面上资助项目1项，北京市社会科学基金1项，国家旅游局科研立项课题1项。荣获2017年文化和旅游部优秀研究成果“学术论文类”优秀奖1项，荣获2017年文化和旅游部优秀研究成果“专著类”优秀奖1项。主持或参与文化和旅游部委托项目10余项。主持或参与外交部、发改委、商务部等中央部委、地方各级旅游局（委），以及国家开发银行、新加坡旅游局、中免集团、银联国际、Google公司、VISA公司、LinkedIn公司等各类机构委托的项目课题40余项。
主要教育与工作经历：河南大学资源环境与城乡规划管理学士、陕西师范大学人文地理学硕士、陕西师范大学旅游管理博士、中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所博士后、中国旅游研究院国际旅游研究所副研究员。
Dr. LI Chuangxin is an associate professor of School of Tourism Sciences at Beijing International Studies University. His main research field is international tourism market development, tourism social and cultural geography.
He published over 50 papers in academic journals, such as Geographical Research, Scientia Geographica Sinica, Tourism Tribune, Human Geography, Economic Geography, Resources Science, Journal of China Tourism Research, etc. He had finished 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Project) as the host. Meanwhile, he had finished 1 China Postdoctoral Science Foundation also as the host. What’s more, in a host position, he had finished 1 Provincial Social Science Foundation of Beijing, and 1 Ministerial Science Foundation of China National Tourism Administration. Moreover, he is working on 1 National Social Science Foundation of China (Youth Project) as the host. One of his academic papers won the honorable mention by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in 2017. In addition, one of his academic books won the honorable mention by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in 2017. Furthermore, he had hosted or participated in more than 10 projects authorized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China. While, he had hosted or participated in more than 40 tourism planning projects as well as research projects authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the National Development and Reform Commission of China, the Ministry of Commerce of China, and other central ministries of China, as well as some provincial or municipal tourism bureaus (or tourism committees). There were also dozens of research projects authorized by other organizations, such as the China National Development Bank, Singapore Tourism Bureau, China Duty Free Group, UnionPay International, Google, VISA, LinkedIn, etc.
Dr.LI held his Bachelor’s degree majored in Resource Environment and Urban & Rural Planning Management from Henan University, his Master’s degree majored in Human Geography from Shaanxi Normal University, and his Doctor’s degree majored in Tourism Management from Shaanxi Normal University. He had ever been a Postdoctoral Researcher of Institute of Geographical Sciences and Resources of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In addition, he had ever been an associate researcher of Institute of International Tourism Research in China Tourism Academy.
