唐承财，男，湖南中方人，北京第二外国语学院区域旅游研究与规划中心主任，旅游科学学院教授（破格）、硕士生导师，北京旅游发展研究基地研究员，中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所地理学博士、生态学博士后；2013年9月-2016年9月任旅游管理学院旅游规划系创始主任，2016年9月至2018年12月任旅游管理学院院长助理；兼职中国自然资源学会理事、旅游资源研究专业委员会副主任兼副秘书长，中国管理科学学会旅游管理专业委员会委员，中国生态学会旅游生态专业委员会委员，中国生态文明研究与促进会生态旅游分会专家委员。
主要研究领域：生态旅游、低碳旅游、乡村旅游、绿色旅游等；主持了国家自然科学青年基金1项、教育部人文社科基金项目2项、中国博士后科学基金面上项目1项、北京市社会科学基金项目2项、以及10余项地厅级项目，主持参与旅游规划横向课题80余项，参与国家级课题8项。在Energy Policy，Journal of Cleaner Production,Sustainability, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Energy Efficiency,Natural Resources Forum，Journal of Mountain Science，《旅游学刊》《自然资源学报》《资源科学》《经济地理》等国内外杂志刊物上发表旅游相关论文100余篇，其中SCI/SSCI收录的期刊论文10篇（8篇为第一作者、通讯作者），CSSCI&CSCD杂志文章50篇（34篇为第一作者或通讯作者），1篇文章入选“领跑者5000-中国精品科技期刊顶尖学术论文平台（F5000），3篇文章被人大复印资料全文转载；独著2本，主编教材2部。
担任国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家、北京市自然科学基金委通讯评审专家、《干旱区资源与环境》编委、资源科学特邀编辑，Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy Policy, Journal of Environmental Management,Science of the Total Environment, Ecological Indicators, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Journal of Spatial Science, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, 《南开管理评论》《旅游学刊》《经济地理》《地理科学》《地理研究》《自然资源学报》《资源科学》《干旱区资源与环境》等30余本期刊的审稿专家。担任北京、宁夏等地A级景区评审专家、多个地方政府和企业的咨询顾问。
荣获联合国教科文组织2016年度亚太地区文化遗产保护荣誉奖、2017年文化和旅游部旅游类优秀研究成果奖学术论文类二等奖（17TAL16，第一作者）、2014年国家旅游局优秀旅游学术成果论文优秀奖（13TAL13，第二作者）、青海省科技进步三等奖、中国自然资源学会青年科技奖等诸多奖项。2012-2013年在北京市旅游发展委员会挂职处长助理；2014年于美国南卡罗来纳大学短期访学。入选北京市高校青年拔尖人才、教育部首批全国高校黄大年式教师团队-旅游管理教学团队（排序第八）。

Chengcai Tang
He currently serves as a professor and master instructorin School of Tourism Sciences, the director of the Center of Regional Tourism Research and Planning, in Beijing International Studies University, also serves as a research fellow of Beijing Tourism Development Research Base. His educational background are the following: Hengyang Normal University, Bachelor of Geographical Science; Fujian Normal University, Master of Science in Physical Geography; University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Science in Natural Resources; Institute of Research of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources of Chinese Academy of Sciences, postdoctoral fellow in Ecology.
From September 2013 to September 2016, he served as the founding dean of department of tourism planning in School of Tourism Management. From September 2016 to December 2018, he served as Assistant dean of School of Tourism Management. He is also assumed the deputy director and deputy secretary-general of the Tourism Resources Research Committee under China Society of Natural Resources, the member of the professional Committee of tourism management of Society of Management Science of China, the member of the professional committee of tourism ecology of Ecological Society of China, the expert member of China Ecological Civilization Research and Promotion Association eco-tourism branch and the visiting professor of Hengyang Normal University.
His main fields of research include: Eco-tourism, Low-carbon Tourism, Rural Tourism, Green Tourism, etc. He has presided over 1 project of National Natural Science Youth Foundation, 2 projects of Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of the Ministry of Education, 1 project of Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of Social Science Foundation of Beijing, and more than 10 projects of prefecture-level level. He has presided over and participated in more than 80 projects of tourism planning and 8 national projects. In Energy Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production, Sustainability, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Energy Efficiency, Natural Resources Forum, Journal of Mountain Science, Tourism Tribune, Journal of Natural Resources, Resources Science, Economic Geography and other domestic and foreign journals, he has published more than 100 papers related to tourism. Among them, there are 10 journal papers included by SCI/SSCI, 50 papers in CSSCI&CSCD magazine, 1 paper was selected as "F5000—platform of China’s top academic papers from high-quality scientific journals", and 3 papers were reproduced in full by Renmin University of China. Besides, he wrote two books and edited one textbook.
He is the communications review expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Beijing Natural Science Foundation of China, and the specially invited editor of ResourcesScience. Meanwhile,he is the reviewing expert of nearly 30 journals, including Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy Policy, Ecological Indicators, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Journal of Spatial Science, Nankai Business Review, Tourism Tribune, Economic Geography, Scientia Geographica Sinica, Geographical Research, Journal of Natural Resources, Resources Science, Journal of Arid Land Resources and Environment, ect. Besides, he serves as the evaluation expert of A level scenic spots in Beijing, Ningxia and other places, and the consultant of a number of local governments and enterprises.
He is the winner of the UNESCO 2016 Asia-Pacific Honor Award for Preservation of Culture Heritage, the 2017 Ministry of Culture and Tourism Award for Outstanding Tourism Research Results—second prize in academic papers (17TAL16, first author), the 2014 National Tourism Administration Award for Outstanding Papers in Tourism Academic Achievements (13TAL13, second author), Qinghai Provincial Prize for Progress in Science and Technology—third prize , the Youth Science and Technology Award of Chinese Natural Resources Society and many other awards.
He worked on secondment as Bureau Assistant Chief in Beijing Tourism Development Committee from 2012 to 2013. During 2014, he had a short-term visit to University of South Carolina in American. Ranked by the Ministry of Education among the first batch of Huang Da’nian-style Teachers’ Teams—Tourism Management Teachers’ Teams among colleges and universities nationwide as a team member, he was selected as the top notch talents under the “Thousand High-end Innovative Talents Program” in Qinghai province, also in the universities of Beijing city.
His main courses are as follows: introduction to resources and environment, ecotourism, excellent tourism planning topics, tourism planning simulation training, tourism destination management and tourism planning topics.
