龚昌德，男，江苏省南京市人，中科院院士，现为浙江师范大学数理信息学院教授、博士导师。

研究领域及成果
长期从事凝聚态理论和统计物理研究，研究方向主要有强关联电子体系、超导物理、低维物理、光与低维固体相互作用、介观物理等。研究成果卓著，有诸多原始创新发现，共发表学术论文270余篇，包括物理学顶级刊物美国《物理评论快报》上的多篇论文，获多个国家级奖项，曾任多个国际刊物编委。领导学科发展的经验丰富，任南京大学物理系系主任期间，在国内率先推行SCI论文评价系统，引领南京大学物理系发展至全国排名第一。从教50余年，其严谨的学风和敏锐的科学直觉对学生产生了深远影响，培养的研究生中有的已成为中科院院士、美国一流大学教授、美国国家实验室研究员，以及多名教育部****和国家****基金获得者。

Research Field and Achievements
Long-term majoring in condensed matter physics and statistic theoretical physics, mainly focusing on strongly correlated electron system, superconducting physics, low dimension physics, interaction between light and low-dimension solid states, mesoscopic physics, etc., The yielded research fruits is abundant in eminent original findings, over 270 refereed articles, including the articles published in the top journal of physics<Physical Review Letters> and the national prizes. When Prof. Gong had been the chairman of the department of physics at Nanjing University, he firstly pursued the SCI evaluation system in China. This reformation directly leaded the department of physics of Nanjing University to rank top1 in China.During his education career of over 60 years, the rigorous style of study and sensitive scientific tuition gave his disciples profound influence. As so far, his graduates have been national academicians of Chinese academy sciences, the professors at the top institutes and national labs of US，the Yangtze River scholars and the winners of national outstanding youth fund in China.
