主要从事工业催化、多孔材料的吸附和扩散、氟化工等领域的研发,在Chem. Eng. Sci., Chem. Eng. J., Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., J. Catal., J. Phys. Chem. C, Langmuir, Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc.等国际化工、化学主流学术期刊上发表研究论文150多篇,所发表论文SCI引用5000多次(h-index: 41),其中单篇论文被引用最高次数为500多次。曾担任国际学术会议主席1次,多次应邀担任国际性学术会议科学委员会委员和分会主席,在国际学术会议上作大会报告、主旨报告和邀请报告40多次;作为项目主持人和主要参与者,和多个国内外著名化工企业合作开展应用开发研究,革新工艺技术,取得了可观的经济效益;获授权发明专利20多件。2012年荣获第四届中国侨界(创新人才)贡献奖,2018年荣获浙江省科技进步一等奖。
