个人简介
我来自中国大连,并在大连获得工程学士学位。我在英国泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔大学获得博士学位,研究水在油乳剂中的错流微滤情况。从1999年9月起,我成为伯明翰大学研究员,将研究领域扩大到使用视频技术理解搅拌槽中不同多相系统的流体力学。此研究与食品配方和非均相催化反应等行业流程密切相关。特别是在反应过程中,诸如多相反应器流体力学、界面和输运现象以及它们在化学反应中起到的作用等发面取得了最新的进展。
2007年9月,我成为剑桥大学化学工程与生物技术系教学联盟教员。我参与广泛的本科教学工作,为3年级本科生设计讲座,督导2、3年级本科生设计项目,开展实验室教学,设置和监督练习(小型项目)以加强教材,因此,化学工程的各个学科我均有涉猎。
我的下一步工作是要将研究兴趣扩展到不同的多相系统的应用,例如对我们的生活环境有直接影响的离子液体。
