个人简介
I completed by BA, MA and PhD at The University of Sheffield, where I taught undergraduate English Literature, Language and Creative Writing.
For my PhD, I developed a new methodology for the contemporary Hong Kong English Language novel, focusing on ethically ‘responsible’ post-colonial writing. My critical publications deconstruct aspects of narrative, including discursive authority, marginalization, and liminality in transnational spaces, both literary and real. My creative practice combines this narrative theory, psycho-geography, and semi-fictional memoir in an exploration of post-colonial subjectivity. My Hong Kong novel, ‘The Widening of Tolo Highway’, is scheduled for 2022 publication by Penguin Random House SEA.


教学
I am a course tutor on RWAC and ESACa, and the IC/IS/ES content module: Discipline-Based Reading. I am also module convenor for the NAA module: Reading Circles, and a tutor on NAA: PACT.
