科研领域描述：
利用分子生物学及生物化学、细胞生物学、生物物理及药理学等多种研究手段开展治疗2型糖尿病等代谢性疾病的药物发现与药理研究工作。围绕脂肪细胞分化的调控、胰岛素受体信号通路、GLUT4、SGLT2、胰岛素分泌、非酒精性脂肪肝等开展研究工作。近几年在GLUT4和GLUT1的研究中取得一系列重要进展并逐步形成系统和自身特色；发现一批新颖活性的天然产物，开展了药用功能及药理研究，以通讯作者在Journal of Cell Science (2017)、Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U. S. A. (2018)、Nanoscale Horizons (2018)、Journal of Biological Chemistry (2019)等国际著名期刊发表研究论文30多篇，申请并获得专利多项。先后获得国家自然科学基金委、云南省科技厅以及国家重点研发计划项目支持。
