主要研究领域：深度学习、图像处理、计算机视觉、文化遗产数字化保护。
西北大学优秀青年学术骨干支持计划入选者。2010年6月武汉大学博士毕业，2014年9月北京大学博士后出站，主持国家、省部级项目等4项，参与总装预研、国家973计划、863计划和国家自然科学基金等10多项。在IEEE TIP、IEEE TCYB、INS、CVIU、SCIS等国际知名期刊或会议上发表SCI/EI论文30多篇，授权发明专利6项和PCT国际专利1项，申请发明专利10多项。

Yongqin Zhang received the B.S. degree in electronicsscience and technology fromZhengzhou University, China,and the Ph.D. degree incommunication and informationsystems from Wuhan University,China, in 2005 and 2010,respectively.

He was an Assistant ResearchFellow with the Institute ofBiomedical and HealthEngineering, ShenzhenInstitutes of AdvancedTechnology, Chinese Academyof Sciences, China, from 2011to 2012. From 2012 to 2014,he was a Post-Doctoral Fellowwith the Institute of ComputerScience and Technology,Peking University, China. Heis currently an Associate Professor with the School ofInformation Science andTechnology, NorthwestUniversity, China, and also a Visiting Scholar atUniversity of North Carolinaat Chapel Hill, USA. He hasauthored or co-authored over 30 papers and 7 patents. Hisresearch interests lie in thefields of deep learning,sparse representation, imageprocessing, computer visionand computational imaging,especially, image restoration,image enhancement and imagesynthesis.
