教育教学 Education And Teaching
自2003年被遴选为中国科学院沈阳应用生态研究所博士生指导教师以来,至今共培养研究生29人,其中博士研究生19人,硕士研究生10人。所培养的博士,大多已成为国内知名大学的教授、博导。2013年获中国科学院“朱李月华优秀教师奖”。
讲授本科生课程《普通生态学》、《植物地理学》、《生态文明与人类未来》等。

科学研究 Scientific Research
1988年以来一直从事森林生态学、生物多样性等方面的研究工作。在国内率先以长白山温带森林25 ha 大型固定样地为主要平台,系统开展了物种空间分布格局、种间关系、生物多样性维持机制、种子雨及幼苗的时空动态、土壤与凋落物的时空异质性、群落动态等监测和研究,对基于热带森林所发展的物种共存等相关理论给予了验证或完善,相关论文在 Ecology、PNAS、Natural communications、Journal of Ecology、Global Ecology and Biogeography、Ecography、Oecologia、Oikos 等生态学国际主流刊物发表。迄今,已在国内外生态学、林学等主流刊物上发表论文170余篇,总IF 超过320,总被引6717次,H 指数43,i10指数132,其中IF>3 的SCI 论文50 篇。出版《长白山植物多样性及其格局》、《长白山温带森林—阔叶红松林及其次生杨桦林的物种组成及其分布格局(Changbaishan Forest Dynamic Plots--Species Composition and Their Spatial Patterns)》《秦岭皇冠森林动态样地——树种及其分布格局》专著3部,同时参加了其它5部专著的编写。
入职西北工业大学生态环境学院以来,于2019年建立秦岭皇冠25公顷森林样地。目前,已完成地形测绘、植被调查以及土壤理化性质测定等工作,该样地也已正式加入中国森林生物多样性监测网络(CForBio)。秦岭皇冠样地将是西北工业大学生态环境学院科学研究和教育教学的重要平台。
