英文摘要The bay scallop and Peruvian scallop are both Argopecten scallops. The bay scallop has been one of the most important cultured bivalves in China, however, due to germplasm degradation, instability in the bay scallop culture industry has been frequently observed. To overcome this problem, we introduced the Peruvian scallop and hybridized it with the bay scallop. A series of new scallop strains including “Bohai Red”, “QN-2” and “QN Orange” were selected from the hybrids. These Peruvian scallop-bay scallop hybrids showed remarkable differences from the bay scallop in growth, stress resistance and fertility, etc. In order to utilize the germplasm resources of Argopecten scallops especially the bay scallop and Peruvian scallop, shorten the breeding cycle and reduce the breeding workload, it is necessary to establish an efficient breeding system by combining conventional breeding methods with molecular marker-assisted breeding techniques. Consequently, genetic analysis of the important economic traits is needed to obtain a large number of molecular genetic markers for marker-assisted breeding in the Peruvian scallop-bay scallop hybrids.
中文摘要Argopecten 属扇贝是世界上人工养殖规模最大的中小型扇贝,其中以海湾扇贝的养殖规模为最大,而紫扇 贝为该属的中型速生型扇贝。 紫海杂交扇贝是利用紫扇贝与海湾扇贝杂交而培育的杂交一代以及由杂交一代选育出 的扇贝“渤海红”、“青农 2 号”和“青农金贝”等杂交扇贝新品种,这些杂交种在生长、抗逆性和育性等方面表现出与未 经选育的海湾扇贝显著不同的优良性能。 为了有效利用海湾扇贝、紫扇贝等 Argopecten 属扇贝种质资源,缩短育种周 期,降低育种工作量,有必要创建常规育种技术与分子标记辅助育种技术相结合的高效育种技术体系,因此需要对重 要经济性状进行遗传解析,以获得大量可用于分子标记辅助育种的分子遗传标记。
