基于细胞生物力学和生物医学的交叉学科研究，包括干细胞分化的物理调控机制、肌动蛋白细胞骨架动力学、神经炎症和脑肿瘤的力学成因与调控、基于微流控芯片的分子生物医学检测、海洋生物材料利用与开发等。
Research Interests:
Interdisciplinary fields in cell mechanobiology and biomedicine, including physical regulations of stem cell differentiation, actin cytoskeleton dynamics, mechanical factors and regulations in neuroinflammation and malignant brain tumors, bio-molecular detection and diagnosis based on microfluidic technologies, marine biomaterial utilization and exploitation, etc.

个人简介：
邵晓薇，海洋研究院副研究员，山东大学青年****“未来计划”入选者。曾于新加坡留学工作共10年，期间从事细胞骨架的力学调控等开创性研究工作并在PNAS期刊发表代表性成果。目前主持校级科研项目2项。
主要从事细胞力学生物学-生物医学交叉学科研究，以人和哺乳动物细胞为研究对象，利用生物物理和工程学研究手段，探索力学信号或其他物理信号（包括电磁场、基底材料等）对细胞生命活动和功能的调控作用及内在机制。目前主要关注力学信号对脑创伤、脑肿瘤和神经类疾病的细胞学层面调控，正在开展的工作包括:（1）神经干细胞分化的力学调控机制研究；（2）星形胶质细胞的发生和功能的力学调控；（3）基于单细胞微流控芯片技术的星形胶质细胞分泌因子检测。
Shao Xiaowei is an associate research scientist at Institute of Marine Science and Technology. She has been elected as a “Future Plan” scholar of Shandong University. Dr. Shao has been doing scientific research in Singapore in the past 10 years. Now she is holding two research grants supported by Shandong University.
Dr. Shao is focused on the cutting-edge interdisciplinary field in cell mechanobiology, eventually aiming for biomedicine. Her research adopts biophysical and engineering techniques and materials in the manipulation of mammalian cells, studying mechanical or other physical signals (including electromagnetic field, substrate material and topography, etc.) in the regulation of cell behaviors and functions, as well as the molecular mechanisms underlying these physical regulations. Her current research is focused on the mechanical regulation of cells in the context of traumatic brain injury, malignant brain tumors and neurological diseases, which covers but is not limited to 1) the mechanical regulation of neural stem cell differentiation and its mechanism, 2) the mechanical regulation of astrocyte gliogenesis and functions, and 3) detection of astrocyte secretion factors based on single-cell microfluidic platform.
