宫先哲，男，现为山东大学海洋研究院助理研究员。曾长期留学于沙特阿拉伯与丹麦，主要从事海洋微生物生态学研究，在微生物生态学国际主流杂志发表SCI论文4篇。

Dr. Xianzhe Gong currently is an Assistant Professor in Institute of Marine Science and Technology, Shandong University. He has been studied overseas for a long period in Saudi Arabia and Denmark. His research focuses on marine microbial ecology.He has published4 peer-reviewed papers.

研究方向：
通过分子生物学及高通量测序技术如16S扩增子测序、宏基因组测序技术等研究海洋低氧环境微型生物生理生态；海洋沉积物生态多样性及有机碳代谢途径；新型古菌代谢途径发掘。
Research Interests:
We are using tools of molecular biology and next-generation sequencing, e.g., 16S amplicon sequencing and metagenomics to study: marine microbial physiology and ecology under low oxygen condition; microbial ecology and the metabolic pathways of the organic carbon in marine sediments; and new metabolic pathways in archaea.
