课程内容简介(英文) According to the MBA education plan stipulated by the State Education Commission, Business English is one of the common core obligatory courses. In order to produce high-level administrators and executive, this curriculum aims to achieve the following results:-To develop students’ abilities of reading relevant subject English materials including case studies, at the same time, help them to obtain the usage and use of sufficient amount of subject vocabulary items, and to master proficient reading skills.-To improve students’ translation skills on subject reference materials, based on the criteria of appropriacy, accuracy and fluency.To improve students’ ability of expressing themselves in written subject English which covers business correspondence, reports, memos, case analysis, essays and etc. , based on the criteria of business and academic register, and of language use and usage. Taking into consideration of the MBA students’ special characteristics which are quite different from other postgraduates’, classroom tasks are designed to use and develop students’ knowledge on industry and business management, to provide the students with opportunities of developing their potential and their abilities;Multimedia instruments are used in the classroom to bring about better teaching effects;The classroom teaching is task based for the purpose of stimulating students’ learning motivation and encouraging their interaction in the classroom. |
