Global Strategic Management is a course that provides a forma process to understand the three stage of strategic management: (a) strategy formulation, (b) strategy implementation, and (c) strategy evaluation. Strategic Management covers the processes and methods on how to develop a company vision and mission statement as well as the tools to help develop strategies including tools such as Internal and External Evaluation matrix, a Competitive Profile Matrix, and a Boston Consulting Group matrix. A Case Study approach and many classroom examples enable the students to understand the processes and to apply the concepts. The course is extremely valuable for understanding what a company should accomplish in strategy management to be successful.
