This course seeks to introduce the students to the subject of Marxist theories, including Marx's philosophy, political economy, and scientific socialism. Marx's discourse on class conflict, social revolution, state, democracy, and international political economy will also be covered. The course will also discuss various schools of Western Marxism in modern times. The instructor will elaborate the key points and explain the puzzles in class, and guild the students through the field of the study of Marxism with appropriate methods and ways of thinking
