I am a philosopher working in postphenomenology aiming to go beyond the “empirical turn” by working with engineers, designers, and artists to analyse the effects of new digital technologies in our society. I am the Vice-chair of the Society for Phenomenology and Media (CA, USA), and I am serving as ethical advisor for several European Projects (HORIZON2020) on Robotics and the implementation of new digital technologies in society. Newspapers like Reuters, de Volkskrant, CNET, Happinez, Il Fatto Quotidiano, and U-Today interviewed me, and commissions like UNESCO COMEST use my work highlighting the impact I have on societal issues. I was interviewed by a local Mexican Television on the impact of new technologies on society.
