个人简介

中组部首批****获得者，上海交通大学船舶海洋与建筑工程学院讲座冠名教授。从2000年开始担任英国的伦敦大学学院（UniversityCollegeLondon）的教授。多年来，对流体力学进行了广泛的研究，尤其是对流体力学的工程应用进行了深入的研究。开发了以有限元、有限体积、边界元等为基础的多种计算方法。开发了多个用以模拟海洋建筑物和波浪相互作用的大型程序。目前也是由英方资助的，由上海交通大学、哈尔滨工程大学及伦敦大学学院组成的联合研究中心的首席教授。该中心主要是为杰出的硕士生、博士生和博士后提供资助和进行创新研究的机会。
