  报告摘要:

Li-ion and Na-ion batteries are the critical enabling technology for the electric vehicles (EV) and renewable wind and solar energy. However, the energy density and safety of current batteries are still need to be improved to satisfy these requirements for EV and smart grid applications. In recent few years, Dr. Wang’s group at University of Maryland has systemically investigated the high capacity anodes and cathodes for Li-ion and Na-ion batteries. New concept of safe Li-ion batteries using aqueous electrolyte and solid state batteries using a single material have been developed.
