研究方向细胞可塑性与细胞命运决定及肿瘤生长转移
研究工作在各种细胞内外因子刺激下,上皮细胞或上皮性质来源的细胞可产生不同性质的生物反应,包括不同程度的自身“身份”或角色的转变,这种角色转变体现了上皮细胞的可塑性。上皮-间质的转变(epithelial-mesenchymaltransition,EMT)是上皮细胞可塑性的一种最完整和经典表现形式。EMT和它的逆向过程MET的产生和调控,对细胞的增殖或自我更新、衰老和生-死命运可产生重大影响,从而在各种生理病理过程包括生长发育和癌肿的浸润转移中起着十分重大的作用。鉴于此,本课题组主要研究上皮细胞可塑性或EMT在细胞命运决定以及癌症远端定位转移中的作用及其分子信号机制,借此深入地探索其相关的生物学意义和展示其潜在的医学理论和应用价值。

1996年初起在中国科学院上海生物化学研究所(现生物化学与细胞生物学研究所)从事研究工作;
1993年至1995年底在旧金山加州大学(UCSF)做博士后研究;
1993年获美国纽约市立大学(CityUniversityofNewYork)Ph.D.(生物化学)学位。
