研究方向肿瘤分子生物学
研究工作肿瘤发生和转移过程中的分子机制。利用分子生物学，细胞生物学以及动物模型研究癌基因和抑癌基因在肿瘤中的作用机理和信号转导。目前工作主要集中研究CCN家族和Eph家族基因在肿瘤发生发展中的作用。
获奖情况2003年入选中国科学院“百人计划”，2007年获得“国家杰出青年基金”。

个人简介谢东研究员毕业于江西大学(现南昌大学)生物学系，在中科院遗传研究所获得硕士学位，在美国南卡罗来纳大学生物系获得博士学位。之后在美国加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)医学院先后为博士后和担任助理教授。2003年起任中国科学院上海生命科学研究院营养科学研究所研究员，研究组长。2003年入选中国科学院“百人计划”，2007年获得“国家杰出青年基金”。目前承担国家自然科学基金项目，国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)，国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)，中国科学院知识创新工程重点项目以及上海市重大基础研究项目。担任《JournalofCellCommunicationandSignaling》和《MolecularNutritionFoodResearch》编委。
