研究方向表观遗传组学
研究工作1.研究表观遗传组在细胞分化过程中的动态变化及其对基因表达的调控功能。
表观遗传修饰主要包括DNA甲基化和组蛋白修饰等方面,它可以通过调控染色质结构的变化显著影响基因转录水平。单一细胞类型中染色体上所有表观遗传修饰的组合称为表观遗传组。系统性的研究细胞发育以及疾病发生过程中表观遗传组的变化规律对于阐明染色质结构与功能之间的关系有着重要意义,并为进一步研究细胞发育和疾病发生的分子机理提供重要帮助。
2.通过大规模的染色质长距离的相互作用的分析,研究染色质高级结构的调控功能。
染色质的高级结构一直是研究者们感兴趣的问题,但由于缺乏有效的研究手段,人们无法系统性的研究全基因组规模的染色质高级结构。最近,一些创新性的研究方法包括ChIA-PET,Hi-C等的成功应用极大的推动了这一领域的研究。我们将利用这些技术手段,系统性的研究细胞分化过程中染色质高级结构的动态变化。同时,鉴定并研究参与调控染色质高级结构的蛋白因子,阐明染色质结构与功能之间的关系。
