2002 年 ---2004 年曾多次被香港中文大学邀请进行科研合作

1998 年 10 月 —1999 年 3 月被美国俄亥俄州立大学邀请作为访问学者科研合作

1997 年 5 月 ---1997 年 11 月被西班牙巴伦西亚大学邀请作为访问教授科研合作

1993 年 7 月 ---1993 年 12 月被澳大利亚国立大学邀请作为访问学者科研合作

2002年获香港中文大学博士学位

【研究领域】

有限群论 , 组合群论.

【 学术成就 】

他多年来一直从事有限群的研究 , 在正规补子群的存在方面推广了著名的 Brauer-Suzuki定理，并从通常研究的对偶角度出发首次研究正规补的存在，为正规补的研究提供了一种新的研究途径。在可解群的研究方面解决了著名群论专家 Deskins提出的一个猜想。近年来从事极小子群对有限群结构影响的研究，统一并推广了著名的 Burnside定理和 Ito 定理，为进一步刻划某些饱和群系奠定了基础。曾获山西省科技进步一等奖和二等奖, 以及国务院政府特殊津贴.
